Service Fire and Security Engineer – £34,000-£40,000 Basic + OTE £48,000 

Salary: £34,000–£38,000 basic (DOE) + OTE £48,000

Package – Service Fire and Security Engineer:

• £34,000–£40,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)

• OTE: £48,000

• 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (increasing 1 day every 5 years) – paid at average rate including overtime

• Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way

• Optional call-out rota – paid door-to-door

• Quarterly bonuses (based on average overtime worked)

Main Responsibilities – Service Fire and Security Engineer:

• Service and maintain fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and emergency lighting

• Take part in the call-out rota (currently 1 week in 9)

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Complete works in line with British Standards and company procedures

• Report to line managers and complete all relevant paperwork

Knowledge and Experience – Service Fire and Security Engineer:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the fire and security industry

• Strong servicing skills across fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and emergency lighting

• Electrical experience (18th Edition) – desirable

• Fire extinguisher knowledge – desirable

• Full UK driving licence (0 points ideal)

• ECS or CSCS card – desirable
