Location of works: Waterlooville (office-based, with occasional site visits)
Salary Bracket: Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
On target earnings (OTE): Up to £50,000, plus company benefits

This role oversees the day-to-day running of the service and maintenance operation, suiting either an experienced Operations or Service Manager, or a Senior Fire & Security Engineer ready to step into management.
Salary and Benefits – Operations Manager
- Up to £50,000 basic salary (DOE)
- Company vehicle
- Company phone and laptop
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising by 1 day per completed year of service
- Company pension scheme
- Permanent, full-time position
Key Responsibilities – Operations Manager
- Managing the day-to-day running of the service and maintenance department
- Overseeing the maintenance database, ensuring planned visits are scheduled and completed efficiently
- Managing incoming service calls and coordinating engineer workloads
- Providing technical support over the phone, diagnosing faults and helping engineers or customers resolve issues remotely where possible
- Attending site when needed to support engineers with more complex technical issues
- Supporting the business through BAFE and NSI audits and assessments
- Maintaining health & safety procedures and company compliance standards
- Working closely with engineers and senior management to deliver an excellent customer experience
Skills and experience – Operations Manager:
- Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems
- Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Service Manager, Technical Support Engineer or Senior Fire & Security Engineer
- Confident diagnosing faults across fire and security systems
- Good understanding of planned preventative maintenance scheduling
- Knowledge of BAFE, NSI and health & safety requirements
- Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence
