4way Recruitment has partnered directly with an established, independent fire and security business based in Cambridgeshire. Operating for over 25 years, our client is an accredited installer delivering fire alarm, intruder alarm and access control systems for commercial clients across the region, and invests in training and progression for its engineering team.

Salary and Benefits – Fire Alarm Engineer

• Up to £55,000 basic, plus bonus scheme
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Company van provided (no personal use)

• Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes each way

Key Responsibilities – Fire Alarm Engineer

• Carrying out small works, servicing and commissioning on fire alarm systems
• Taking part in the out-of-hours call-out rota
• Completing all works in line with current legislation and British Standards
• Acting as the customer-facing point of contact and handling client requests on site

Skills and experience – Fire Alarm Engineer:

• Notifier qualified
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the fire and security industry
• Strong understanding of British Standards
• Full UK driving licence, clean licence preferred
• Industry-related qualifications advantageous but not essential
