Salary Bracket: Up to £45,000 per annum
On target earnings (OTE): Competitive, plus overtime and call-out payments

4way Recruitment has partnered directly with an accredited fire and electrical services provider to secure a permanent Fire Alarm Service Engineer for their team. Our client delivers fire alarm, emergency lighting and fire extinguisher servicing across the domestic and social housing sector.
Salary and Benefits – Fire Alarm Service Engineer
- Basic salary up to £45,000
- Overtime available at time and a half
- Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes each way
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Company vehicle with personal use
- 11 hours’ rest guaranteed when on call
- Standby payment of £140 per week
- Call-out payment of £60 per job
Key Responsibilities – Fire Alarm Service Engineer
- Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems, both addressable and conventional
- Servicing and maintaining emergency lighting systems
- Maintaining fire extinguishers
- Working safely and professionally within the domestic and social housing sector
Skills and experience – Fire Alarm Service Engineer:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience servicing and maintaining conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
- Experience within the social housing sector preferred
- Good understanding of BS 5839-1 fire alarm standards
- FIA training or qualifications desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence, clean licence preferred
