4way Recruitment has partnered directly with an accredited fire and security provider to secure a permanent Fire and Security Engineer for their team.
Salary and Benefits – Fire and Security Engineer
- Basic salary up to £45,000
- Travel time paid door to door
- Overtime at time and a half on weekdays, double time on Saturdays and Sundays
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, plus 1 day for your birthday
- Company vehicle, van or car, with personal use
- No call-out rota
Key Responsibilities – Fire and Security Engineer
- Carrying out servicing and reactive maintenance on fire alarms, intruder alarm systems, access control systems and CCTV equipment
- Installing fire alarms, intruder alarm systems, access control systems and CCTV equipment
- Completing all work in accordance with current legislation and relevant British Standards
- Responding to and managing customer requests professionally and promptly
Skills and experience – Fire and Security Engineer:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience installing and servicing electronic security systems
- Experience with fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control
- Strong fault-finding and system servicing skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Full UK driving licence, clean licence preferred
- Must be eligible for enhanced security screening
- Fluent German preferred but not essential
